Some time ago a member of the Third Order in Argentina, mother of several priests and nuns of the Religious Family of the Incarnate Word, suggested that we publish some meditations on the Sacred Heart of Jesus following the litanies in his honor, as a pledge of
the love that our religious profess to the merciful love of the Divine Redeemer.
Today with great joy we present this work, composed of thirty-three meditations, one for
each line of the litany, written by priests of the Institute of the Incarnate Word who serve
as missionaries in different parts of the world.
